Hungry for a sweet and savory dessert? For some it might bring joy and good memories as well.
The recipe will cover all the easy steps to create wonderful and appetizing maple cookies in less than an hour.
For the ingredients we will need:
- 4 cups of all-purpose flour,
- 2 tsp of baking soda,
- 1/2 tsp of salt,
- one cup of butter (we recommend unsalted and softened),
- one cup of brown sugar,
- one cup of Jakeman's Pure Maple Syrup,
- one tsp of vanilla extract,
- 1/3 cup of white sugar.
Instructions:
First you have to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, or 175 degrees C and prepare two cookie sheets.
In a bowl add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix the thoroughly.
In another bowl add the butter that should be creamy and the brown sugar. After mixing them with an electric blender add the pure maple syrup, egg and the vanilla until you get a nice paste. Afterwards, add the flour mixture as well until it is well blended.
With the dough finished we will take it out of the ball and make small 1-inch balls.
Going back to your over, fill the cookie sheets with balls spaced 2 to 3 inches apart and use a small bowl or spatula to flatten them.
When the oven is ready place the cookie tray inside and keep them for 8 to 10 minutes. We recommend putting only one tray at a time to ensure the tastiest cookies. After one tray is done, put them on a grill or wire tracks to cool.
After they cooled you can enjoy your amazing cookies.
